Oceanhood Inc. is committed to complying with applicable:
- U.S. sanctions laws
- Export control regulations
- Anti-boycott laws
- Maritime compliance rules
- International trade restrictions
This policy applies to all users, merchants, buyers, vessels, agents, and third parties using the Platform.
RESTRICTED JURISDICTIONS
Users may not use the Platform in violation of sanctions administered by:
- The U.S. Department of the Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
- The European Union
- The United Kingdom
- The United Nations
- Other applicable authorities

Oceanhood reserves the right to screen users against sanctions and watch lists.
EXPORT CONTROL COMPLIANCE
Users are responsible for complying with:
- U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
- International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Maritime export controls
- Customs regulations
Certain products may require export licenses or may be prohibited entirely.
VESSEL SCREENING
Oceanhood may screen:
- Vessel names
- IMO numbers
- Flag states
- Operators
- Port destinations
- Cargo information
Oceanhood reserves the right to refuse transactions involving high-risk vessels or destinations.
TRANSACTION MONITORING
Oceanhood may monitor transactions for:
- Suspicious activity
- Sanctions exposure
- Fraud indicators
- Money laundering risks
- Trade compliance concerns
Transactions may be delayed, suspended, or canceled pending review.
REPORTING OBLIGATIONS
Oceanhood may report suspicious or prohibited activity to regulatory or law enforcement authorities where required by law.
ACCOUNT TERMINATION
Oceanhood may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of sanctions or compliance requirements without prior notice.
